Strong Families Connects Arizona Families with the Help They Deserve
Strong Families AZ is committed to helping families, particularly by providing help for new parents with young children and pregnant people. To provide this help, Strong Families AZ has a number of home visiting programs designed for different needs, including low income families, parents who have children with developmental disabilities, parents interested in learning how to monitor the progress of their child’s mental and physical development, and more.
Strong Families AZ’s programs can help expecting parents develop a birth plan and feel prepared to welcome their child into the world. We can also assist parents to better understand infant and child development. Our array of home visitation programs is thoughtfully designed to help parents succeed so their children can too.
Home visiting connects families with skilled and caring home visitors. We work with parents and/or caregivers within the household. The services are based on the families’ specific needs, and will adapt as the needs change.
Home visiting provides support to you in your home, and we are focused on your relationship to your child. We build on the parenting skills you already have, and work with your children. We’ll help you make the best use of your financial resources, and connect you with other health, social service and education resources.
